Established in 1974, the Korean Cancer Association is the most authoritative scientific society that has been dedicated to advancing oncology filed in Korea. KCA represents over 2,000 members from 150 institutes who are clinical oncologists and basic scientists and it has continuously expended its academic notability and impact across Asia.

KCA is a member of the Union for International Cancer Control's (UICC), and currently conducting the head office of the Asian Oncology Society (AOS).

KCA is also publishing a SCI indexed journal Cancer Research and Treatment(CRT) and holds its annual meeting with the International Cancer Conference.
