Conveniently located in the heart of Korean peninsula, Seoul is served by two international airports bringing visitors from all around the world. Rated the world's best airport in 2004, and consecutively from 2006 to 2011 by Global Traveler Incheon International Airport (IIA), one of the newest transportation hubs in Asia, has over 79 airline offices and manages 455 inbound and outbound international flights each day. Following the completion of IIA, Gimpo International Airport has mainly been used for domestic travel, though it still handles international flights to and from major cities in China and Japan.

If you take a taxi from the airport, we suggest that you take one from a designated taxi stand, and ask for a receipt. Deluxe taxis are black in color and are higher-priced than the orange-colored general taxis. When you depart from Incheon Int'l Airport, a toll fee will be the passenger's responsibility. The estimated fare is based on no traffic congestion, so the actual rates may vary.
