Following the success of 41st Annual Meeting 2015, we cordially invite you to the 42nd Annual Meeting of Korean Cancer Association along with the 3rd International Cancer Conference which will be held on June 16th to 17th, 2016 at the Lotte Hotel Seoul in Korea.

Since 2014, the Annual Meeting of Korean Cancer Association, the largest-scaled oncology conference in Korea, has been nationally and internationally recognized for its academic and research excellence. Every year more than 1,300 basic and clinical scientists attend to foster knowledge and experience exchange and encourage collaboration among members from broad spectrum of research in cancer and related biomedical science.

This year, for the Plenary Lecture, we are honored to invite two world renowned experts: Dr. M.Celeste Simon and Dr. David A. Cheresh. Dr. Simon is a distinguished scientist in the Tumor Hypoxia field and a professor in the Department of Cell and Development Biology at the University of Pennsylvania, USA. Dr. Cheresh is one of the leading researchers who has accomplished outstanding outcomes for tumor angiogenesis & tumor cell invasion and metastasis, working as an associate director for Innovation and Industry Alliances, Moores UCSD Cancer Center, USA. We will also invite two Korean speakers for the Plenary Lecture, Dr. Yung-Jue Bang from Seoul National University College of Medicine and Dr. Young-Joon Surh from Seoul National University College of Pharmacy. They have been highly praised for their pivotal role in raising Korean cancer research & treatment to world-class level.

In addition, multilateral joint symposium with a number of Korean cancer related societies, the conference has been working closely with Shanghai Cancer Institute and Beijing Medical Association in order to hold another joint session. We truly believe that our scientific programs are going to be another platform for participants to exchange scientific knowledge and expand networking experience.

Collaborating with APFOCC (Asian Pacific Federation of Organizations for Cancer Research and Control) and ACOS (Asian Clinical Oncology Society), we will continue to establish a solid foundation for cancer research activities in the Asia Pacific regions and through this meeting.

In particular, International Session has been held to promote attendance of foreign researchers. In this session, new unpublished excellent abstracts as well as the abstracts previously published in other cancer-related meetings will be presented, which is expected to enhance vibrant exchange of research ideas and findings among nations.
