Dear Colleagues,

We cordially invite you to the 41st Annual Meeting of Korean Cancer Association with International Cancer Conference taking place from 18^th to 19^th of June at the Lotte Hotel Seoul.

In spirit of KCA fundamental principles that are oriented to multi- and interdisciplinary research and treatment, the program of the meeting is dedicated to disseminate new findings and to promote basic science, transitional research, multi- and interdisciplinary convergent research, and development of new pharmaceuticals and clinical research.

The program will foster the exchange of knowledge and new ideas among members from broad spectrum of research in cancer and related biomedical science.

In addition, multilateral joint symposium with Korea Genome Organization, the Korean Society of Coloprotology, the Korean Society of Gynecologic Oncology, the Korean Pediatric Brain Tumor Society, the Korean Society of Nuclear Medicine and Shanghai Cancer Center will be organized and we believe that these sessions are going to be another platform for participants to exchange scientific knowledge and expand networking experience.

We invited two supreme Plenary speakers who are an outstanding epigenetic researcher and a remarkable radiation oncology researcher in USA. Dr. Peter W. Laird as a director of University of Southern California, his approaches have been subsequently applied to the intensive investigation of DNA methylation in health and disease, including breast, ovarian, colon cancer and lung cancer mesothelioma. Dr. Javier F. Torres-Roca as a radiation oncologist in department of interdisciplinary oncology and the radiation oncology program at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, his major research field is in the development of a systems level understanding of the biological networks that regulate radiosensitivity.

Dr. Waun Ki Hong, a world famous top authority in cancer research will deliver the Special Lecture sharing stories how his work impacted careers and mentorship to young physician scientists.

Korean Invited speakers for Plenary Lectures are Prof. Sung Hoon Noh from Yonsei University who contributed to Korean cancer research and development of KCA and Dr. Jin-Soo Lee from National Cancer Center.

In particular, International Session has been held to promote attendance of foreign researchers. In this session, new unpublished abstracts as well as previously published abstracts in cancer-related international meetings and abstracts with premier research findings will be presented.

We look forward to enthusiastic participation of KCA members and cancer researchers. We wish this annual meeting to be a place for energetic discussions, active communication, and fruitful collaboration between experts in cancer research.
